How important is having a minor for applying to medical school?

Im a Biology Major, and I’m trying to decide whether or not pursuing and spending a portion of my time in a minor is worth it. Would not having a minor hurt my chances? I feel like having the extra work of pursuing a minor would hurt my GPA, in that I wouldn’t spend enough time on the other subjects that matter more…
