it&#039;s not likely that someone will hire you with just a minor, because the major is what really counts. just pick your major carefully and if decide to change then do so, but a minor can be good if it&#039;s a language or something useful that has little to do with your major.</description>

A minor means you have completed a set of courses relating to a subject to have a sound understanding of that subject... Soooo, that can mean whatever you want!
But in real terms I&#039;d say your right in that it provides an alternative path to take - or at least shows an alternative interest and will look good on your CV/resume.</description>
